I can’t believe it but our neutral bathroom remodel is complete. Not only is it complete, but it took 4 weeks from start to finish and we pulled it off during a pandemic! For those of you new to following along here, we purchased our home over 9 years ago. Slowly we’ve been remodeling it as we go. Our last major project was our kitchen and mudroom remodel. This was PC (Pre-Covid) and we’ve been saving for this neutral bathroom remodel since.
During the ongoing pandemic home remodeling projects have become increasingly more challenging. Supply chains are disrupted, cost of goods have significantly increased, and there are major labor shortages. When you drive around our little village it seems like everyone has the same idea. Homeowners are looking to update and remodel, especially now that we are all spending more time at home.
This bathroom remodel has been a long time coming. When we bought our home we only had two children. We’ve since added one more. This bathroom gets a lot of use being shared daily. To appreciate a good remodel you must see the before. The vanity drawer doors literally fell off, there was only one light in the bathroom, and the shower door could break at any moment.
We were grateful to work with Signature Hardware on the remodel. All the fixtures I selected from the faucets down to the cabinet pulls are so beautifully manufactured…..they made the design flawless. I was impressed that everything arrive within days of ordering and nothing was damaged or needed to be exchanged.
I selected porcelain tile for both the shower walls and floor. I love the look of marble but didn’t want to have to deal with the up keep. Instead of a shower door I’m having a custom glass shower panel made, which will be installed shortly.
I’ve included the remaining neutral bathroom remodel sources below. I’d love to hear what you think!
Custom made rift white oak cabinet
White quartz top
Special thank you to Signature Hardware for working with us on this remodel.
